Andrássy University Budapest
AUB was established in 2001 as a sui generis international and Hungarian institution for higher education. Today, AUB is a Hungarian and international university, offering degrees in Master and PhD programmes in economics, political sciences, legal sciences and history. It has a distinctive international and interdisciplinary research programme. Central and Eastern European countries and the Danube region are taken into particular consideration. Prof. Dr. Martina Eckardt and Prof. Dr. Stefan Okruch with their team of researchers from the Department of Economics and Business have a high expertise regarding applied empirical analysis, social management issues (in health policies and ageing) and innovation management. They are partners in the International Society for Research on Innovation and Change in Health Care Systems (ISRICH), which is an initiative of researchers in various countries who wish to exchange research results and national experiences on a regular basis. Besides, research cooperation exists with the Federal Ministry of Finance (Berlin), the German-Hungarian Chamber for Industry and Trade in Budapest, and the University of Rostock among others. A number of research activities have been successfully conducted in the past, which provide the team with valuable expertise for the project at hand.
