ZHAW participated at CeBIT and presented “ExpAct” that attracted wide interest
CeBIT is one of the biggest ICT trade fairs worldwide. At this year’s CeBIT (14th to 18th March 2016), Switzerland was partnering country where more than 40 Swiss companies and universities presented their digital competences, among them also the Institute of Business Information Technology of the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. A first demo version of the ExpAct Plattform was presented at the booth.
During CeBIT, different Swiss exhibitors showed their innovative solutions and products. Andri Färber, project manager of the ExpAct project, presented the project at the Swiss Pavilion Arena. He spoke about the internet-based platforms that support older adults by staying in occupation beyond their pension age. A first demo version of such a plattform was presented at the exhibition stand. Further, different official CeBIT tours stopped at the ZHAW booth. Participants of those tours were among others representatives of Swiss organizations. The project attracted wide interest among those.
